Individual Package 1

Beginner Oil Painting Foundations
Perfect for Beginners

Type of student:

Complete beginners or those with limited painting and drawing experience who want to learn the essentials of oil painting.

Curriculum:

Week 1: Introduction to supplies (brushes, paints, mediums, canvas types) and studio setup.
Week 2: Composition, sketching, and understanding value (light vs. dark).
Week 3: Brush stroke practice, blending, basic color theory, mixing, and layering techniques.
Week 4: Guided landscape project (simple objects) to apply learned skills.

Art supplies for studio classes provided
Starter art supply list with recommended brands for home studio and virtual classes.
Printable practice worksheets, list of recommended art books, and other items.
Feedback on weekly practice assignments (via email, Zoom, or live sessions).

outcome:

Intermediate Oil Painting Development

Type of student:

Students who know the basics of oil painting and drawing but want to improve technique, values, and composition.

Curriculum:

Week 1: Advanced brushwork and underpainting methods.
Week 2: Composition.
Week 3: Creating depth with light and shadow though values.
Week 4: Landscape painting with skies, trees, and water reflections.
Week 5: Project assigned based on students’ landscape or seascape interest
Week 6: Review of final project – student and artist will review, critique, and celebrate final project.

What’s Included:

Art supplies included for studio classes or students may bring their own oil painting supplies.
Personalized feedback on each project.
Mid-course one-on-one critique or overall progress.
Access to resources (color mixing guides, composition templates, books, etc.).
Students provide all supplies for zoom or out of studio instruction.
Certificate of completion.

outcome:

Students gain confidence in composition, values, perspective, and subject-matter variety while producing 2 finished works or one larger painting or drawing.

Advanced Oil Painting

(Portfolio & Style Development)

Type of student:

Advanced hobbyists or aspiring artists who want to refine personal style and produce ready-ready work.

Curriculum:

Week 1: Exploration of major oil painting styles (realism, impressionism, expressionism).
Week 2: Studying the masters – analyzing famous paintings and recreating techniques.
Week 3: Developing unique composition ideas and themes.
Week 4: Creating atmosphere with lighting and dramatic contrasts.
Week 5: Advanced textures – palette knife, cloth, etc.
Week 6: Personal project planning and progress check-in.
Week 7: Instructor guidance on finishing techniques and varnishing.
Week 8: Final showcase – students present finished work for critique and celebration.

This package would be specifically designed for students based on their skills, style, experience, and content they are interested in oil painting or drawing. Students and artist will specifically design all content, duration of sessions, and pricing through collaboration.

Corporate Wellness Art Classes or Group Sessions

These packages can be delivered as groups or Corporate Employee Wellness Art Classes (lower per-person pricing, more community interaction) or as private coaching (premium pricing, more personalized). Supplies for these sessions will be purchased by the group or can be added to the enrollment fee for the employees or students. Session duration, curriculum, and supply list will be determined by the group and artist.
